    The word "grunge", which means "dirt" or "grime", came to describe a music style, a fashion style and a rebellious lifestyle from the pacific northwest, mostly in seattle. With the effects of this scene still relevant some 30 years later, let's take a look at how it all began, and how a rebellion against the mainstream became ironically mainstream.
